Halfway...

Kimbo reaches the halfway point with our 2nd member of the Carr front row this week and all is going well, as you can see in the picture. Watch out Des, you will have to scrum all of us soon...

We had a relaxing week end. The weather has been great - still waiting for our first real thunderstorm of the summer. We won our first polo game of the season on Saturday so celebrated with a few beers watching the Currie Cup Final. What a game...

Sports round up: Jake White continues to fall in my estimations with his confusing selections. He says he has picked a squad with the world cup in mind - and then includes the 36 year old Johann Ackermann. How or why he has left Kababma Floors out is also beyond me.... Arsenal are now 4th in the Premiership after a 3-0 win over Watford with a game in hand. Keep on climbing Goooners.

Kimbo has been taking Josh to swimming lessons twice a week which he loves. The instructor has labelled him "the wild one" because of his frantic splashing displays... One to watch for the future.

Managed to finalise our Christmas holiday dates - 18 December to 8 January - with some time in the Eastern Cape and a short stop over in Cape Town. 9 weeks to go and counting...!

Have a good week.

It would seem that Nathan is taking on Dave Moseley as the Monday Morning Quarterback of some note. Some very interesting reading on the selections. I hope you don't bump into Jake in a pub. Josh looks a lot happier on the bike than at the books. we think we have a Rhodian on our hands :) Have a great week guys. Hopefully we'll catch up soon. Kimbo look after yourself. J+S

I would love to bump into Jake at the pub....! We spoke to him in Dublin after the Irish test in 2004 when had his foot in his mouth because of his infamous quote "I would only pick two Irish players in the bok team" the night before Ireland beat us soundly at Landsdowne Road. It has gone from bad to worse ever since!
